Day on the river

Water sports belong to the most popular holiday activities of the Czech people. During the warm months, all the rivers are full of boats. A canoe usually makes part of the Czech family equipment. Couples, groups of friends and families, everybody likes to glide on the water, chatting and sunbathing.

 At many different places you can rent a boat and joint the cheer company.Along the rivers there are many camping sites where you can pitch a tent and spend the night. In the evening, people sit around the fire, cook, drink, sing and play guitar.

The most important Czech river Vltava passes through beautiful towns in which you can stop for a visit of their mediaeval centers and imposing castles.
